The HGCA site provides different levels of search to suit different requirements;

Quick search
This allows search of titles and abstracts from all site content by relevance or date. You can also include or exclude publications. This will only show the 20 most relevant results. If you are looking for an exact phrase, put it in inverted commas e.g. "Grain storage".

Advanced Full Content search
This will show all results for a phrase or word, but may return hundreds of results as it searches through site content and downloadable documents (eg pdfs, word docs etc). It is most effective with a complex or rare word, eg 'organophosphate'

Publication search
This takes you to the publications section where you can enter a key word or phrase from the title, or enter the publication number. You can also search by category, Crop Research, Markets etc and/or type of publication.
