Strategy

At a time of unprecedented change, it is vital that the research and development undertaken for the cereals and oilseeds industry is well aligned with the needs of farmers, dealers, processors and all stakeholders.

HGCA-funded R&D has become increasingly important as government funding for research relevant to production agriculture has declined significantly.

HGCA is committed to funding and promoting independent research of practical benefit to levy payers, working with a range of contractors from universities and research institutes to agronomy groups.
