Solstice is a nabim group 1 variety widely used by millers.

Solstice is very popular with growers, taking around 12% of 2007 certified seed production weights.

nabim report that this is one of the most widely planted milling varieties and is much used by millers. Originally placed in Group 2, it has continued to perform well.

 Classified as ukp export bread wheat and has support from end users.

Yield potential is 7% above Malacca and although it is 3% lower yielding than Xi19 it is stiffer strawed and tends to give higher proteins.

Good resistance to yellow rust but is susceptible to mildew, brown rust and eyespot.
