- Pict produces grain with good specific weight - similar to two-row varieties - but with a yield around 1% below Sequel.
- Has long straw of moderate strength.
- Early maturing.
- Good resistance to Rhynchosporium and moderately good resistance to mildew and brown rust.
- Resistant to the common strains of barley mosaic viruses (BaYMV strain 1 and BaMMV).
- No longer in trials.
