Farmhouse Breakfast Week
Thank you for all of your support during Farmhouse Breakfast Week 2008. We had a very successful week with over 1,600 events and activities organised.

Next year's celebration will be held from  25th - 31st January 2009 .

What are cereals

Education
The HGCA and the Flour Advisory Bureau (FAB) have collaborated to produce a multimedia educational resource called The Grain Chain (www.grainchain.com). It offers children a fun way to learn about the 'field to fork' cycle of how wheat is grown and used to produce breads and cereals plus advice on eating for health and vitality. Developed with input from teachers, this latest learning resource can be used both in the classroom and at home.

Export Bulletin
The Export Bulletin provides export market insight for cereal manufacturers and processors. Published every three months and compiled by Food From Britain's international network, each bulletin covers a key geographical region, and offers accurate insights into exporting opportunities for cereal-based products

HGCA Enterprise Awards
The Enterprise Awards scheme supports innovation with grain by providing funding of up to £50,000.  Funding can be used to support new product development or the development of new markets, either in the UK or abroad.  There are two main award categories; food and drink and industrial uses.  For further information click here
